1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Lawn Command Center (“Lawn Command,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, including account and contact information; property location and lawn-zone information; soil tests, photos, diagnoses, plans, schedules, journal entries, equipment and inventory records; notification preferences; collaborator and integration information; support communications; and other content you choose to enter.

We also collect service and device information such as IP address, browser and device type, application events, authentication and security records, error and diagnostic data, and approximate usage information. Payment-card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by Lawn Command.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the service; personalize weather, scheduling, lawn-health, and Advisor features; process subscriptions; send requested or operational communications; provide support; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; understand product performance; comply with law; and protect users and Lawn Command.

4. AI Features

When you use AI-powered features, relevant prompts, property context, lawn records, and your instructions may be sent to configured AI service providers to generate a response or supporting representation. Do not submit information you do not want processed for that purpose. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be independently evaluated before you act on it.

5. Service Providers and Disclosures

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, database and file storage, application deployment, AI processing, payments, analytics, error monitoring, email, notifications, and optional integrations. Current core providers may include Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, PostHog, and Sentry. They process information for us under their own terms and privacy commitments.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or at your direction, such as when you invite a collaborator or connect an integration. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. Analytics, Cookies, and Similar Technologies

We use essential storage and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and core functionality. Product analytics is subject to the consent controls presented by the service. Reliability and security monitoring may operate as an essential service. You can change available analytics preferences through the product’s consent or account controls.

7. Retention and Security

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and provider. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Requests

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict certain processing of your information. Available account controls may let you export data, change communication or analytics preferences, and request account deletion. Account deletion is designed to cancel an active subscription and remove covered application records, stored files, and the authentication account; limited security, legal, backup, or de-identified records may remain where permitted or required.

9. Children and International Use

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where data-protection rules may differ from those in your location.
